Mixed Tapes | analog collages
Creating collages, to me, is the visual art equivalent of free jazz – piecing together unexpected, unique visual stories. I also find them to be relaxing and therapeutic, like puzzle solving and the solution reveals itself in a sudden moment of connecting images. It doesn’t always go smoothly and sometimes they still seem “unsolved,” but when they come together in a satisfying way it’s pure enjoyment.
