My take-away from the memoir, I Saw The Future and I’m Not Going, is that people can actually create their own world. Not like in a Oh look at my collection of English tea spoons!
Peter McGough and David McDermott, only dressed in 1900s clothes (and undies!), drove a Model T, wrote 1900’s dates on paintings and literally tore out plumbing.
Great capture of McGough’s experience during the 1980’s NYC art scene, AIDS, and the highs and woes of partnering with someone for life.
